Hello, MCCA Family!
I hope your spring semester is off to a great start. It’s been wonderful to have all of our students and families back in the studio. I am beyond excited to introduce a new performance opportunity this spring - MCCA’S GOT TALENT!
MCCA’s Got Talent is a monthly event, held on the 2nd Saturday of each month. MCCA students and staff, families, and friends can gather for an evening of fun and entertainment! Each MCCA’s Got Talent night will be from 6:00-8:00 pm in MCCA’s Studio 4 performance space. This is our version of an Open Mic night! Performers can sign up to share their talents and get some additional performing experience in a casual and welcoming environment. MCCA’s Got Talent acts can include (but are not limited to):
Singing
Dancing
Monologues or Acting Scenes
Comedy Routines
Poetry
Playing an Instrument
Anything other special talent that you’d like to share!
This is a great opportunity to share what you’ve been learning in your MCCA classes or to debut an entirely new skill! Our students work so hard to prepare for MCCA showcases and productions, and we are thrilled to provide an opportunity for students to perform more often. It’s also a fun way to spend an evening with your MCCA friends and to meet new people!
MCCA’s Got Talent is open to all ages! MCCA students, parents, and families are welcome to sign up to perform, or feel free to share with your friends in the community. Perform solo or with a group! All performances must be family-friendly and appropriate for audiences of all ages. There is no cost to participate as a performer. For those cheering on our talented participants, there is a $5 entrance fee for audience members. We will also have snacks and drinks for sale, thanks to our amazing MCCA Magic Makers parent group!
