Our cast has been preparing for this event since summer 2021 when they performed the entire production Singin in the Rain Jr!

Their hard work paid off winning them the Outstanding Performance Award! Two students, Ashton Williams and Emma Hughes, were awarded ALL STARS! This recognition is for their outstanding performances, talent, and energy! Two students, Emilia Porter and Sydney Nines received call backs for the iTheatrics Choreography DVD Additions! AND our very own Ashton Williams received Outstanding Individual Performance Award!

JTF brings together student musical theatre troupes from all over the world for a weekend of musical theatre mayhem and madness. Each troupe performs fifteen minutes from a Broadway Junior show for adjudication by a panel of musical theatre experts. Here is our 15 minute performance! Enjoy!

PROGRAM OVERVIEW

MCCA’s pre-professional musical theatre training and performance program is an accelerated training program that helps prepare students for the professional world. The program is exciting, high energy, and requires serious commitment from both students and parents. The program consists of summer & winter training sessions, participation in the Junior Theatre Festival, and the full performance of a Broadway Jr. Musical.

GOALS & PHILOSOPHIES

  • Our common goal is to nurture our young performers and to help them grow into creative, collaborative, compassionate, professional, kind, hard-working young adults. We want them to be prepared for the professional world in whatever they choose to pursue. Thank you for allowing us the privilege to work with your child and for working with us to help create the best possible environment for their growth and success.

  • To create dynamic, thoughtful, professional performances

  • To enrich and enhance the students skills in acting, dance, voice, rehearsal etiquette, and audition techniques.

  • To create a positive and safe environment where students are free to take risks, be bold, be their true selves, and embrace the uniqueness of those around them.

  • Our goal is to create a group that celebrates the unique individual as well as the commonality of the love of performing to the highest level.
