Erica's Bio
Erica first found her home at MCCA when she began taking private voice lessons in 2016. Soon after, she joined Team Teal, which was MCCA’s Pre-Professional Musical Theatre track at the time. In this program, Erica made so many life-long friends, and built on the knowledge and passion she had for Musical Theatre. You may have seen her around in a few productions in our community, including Tracy Turnblad in Hairspray!, The Narrator in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, and most recently, and The Bakers Wife in Into the Woods.
After graduating High School, Erica went onto begin classes on Frostburg State University. In the Fall of 2022, she decided she needed a break from normal life, and decided to escape to Disney World for 5 months while she did the Disney College Program! Erica had the honor of working at Pirates of the Caribbean the attraction and was also able to work some special events like giving out candy at the Halloween Parties! Since returning to Frostburg, Erica found her passion for music itself, and took on a Music Education major. With this degree she hopes to work in a local middle or high school teaching General Music, Directing a Choral Program, and hopefully even having her own Drama Club Program! Erica is so grateful for the opportunity to be a part of the place that was so impactful on her childhood, and she can’t wait to teach the new wonderful minds that join our MCCA family!
